Our name, Sunshine City Law, reflects our mission.
First, Florida’s “Government-In-The-Sunshine Law,” or the “Sunshine Law,” guarantees the public the right to access most meetings and public records of state and local government agencies and bodies in Florida. It is one of the most extensive laws in the country that protects the public’s right to know the actions of local, regional, and state agencies. Closed doors are the exception, not the rule.
At Sunshine City Law, we are dedicated to making your voice clear and heard in front of federal, state, and local governments. As your advocate, we strive to hold elected and appointed officials accountable and keep government actions transparent, as the law requires.
Second, Sunshine City Law represents clients in front of cities, counties, other local governmental entities, and various other boards and agencies. This area of law combines a mix of constitutional law, land use and real estate issues, environmental matters, contracts, and ethics.
Third, St. Petersburg is known as the “Sunshine City.” Our firm is centrally located in Pinellas County in Safety Harbor and provides representation throughout the Tampa Bay area. We also offer services statewide through the Sunshine State, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Tallahassee.
